This was the first time I'd tried the recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book, and I chose the pecan caramel variation.

The dough was a little hard - I added a bit too much flour. And the caramel slurry turned into a thick toffee, which was a whoops. Not sure if I should have heated it more or less to prevent that from happening!

They still tasted delicious. The filling used flour, and it was really good.
