I'm getting really great at putting off my next project, which is a bottom-up, colourwork sweater for my younger son. I've decided that he has slowed down growing enough to get his first sweater in many years. I've bought the yarn and pattern, but instead of starting it I keep thinking of other quick projects to do first.
I think it's just January startitis. Or something!
Anyhow, one of the other things I've started is another pair of Patons Kroy mittens:
Aren't those pretty! I ordered the yarn along with the little towel topper kit, from Mary Maxim, before Christmas. Mary Maxim always has certain colours of Kroy for super cheap. I've always loved this colourway (Sweet Stripes) so I bought four balls. And am whipping up another pair of my usual mitts, with the Indian thumb gusset and made long enough for my giant hands. Some of my older sets of Kroy mitts are getting pretty ratty looking, so I thought a fresh pair would be nice.
I've also started another quick project, which I will detail in my next post!
